A "love yourself" by Justin Bieber cover/tutorial
Hello.
I watched you accompany Halsey covering "love yourself" and I really liked what you did there.
I would appreciate a cover/tutorial explaining these beautiful Jazz moves you added .and maybe a lesson about using Jazz techniques in pop songs. Thanks a lot.
How to develop Bebop solo lines
The fundamentals of bebop melodic lines and a process for learning to play bebop.
Practice techniques for internalising the changes of a tune well enough so that you can comp and solo freely without getting lost.
Improvising freely whilst keeping track of the chord changes and comping with the left hand is challenging. Really wish I was better at this. I would be interested in practice techniques aimed specifically at internalising the changes well enough that you don't have to worry about them and developing the freedom that you don't feel constrained by them. Thanks!
off-beat, down-beat ... WTBeat!
Hi Pianoweekly. I'm beguiner (2nd year). And, awfully confused with "off-beat" "on-beat" "down-beat" "up-beat", that is, the "jazzy" accentuation of the notes, etc. It would be absolute great if you could make a video clarifying these xxx-beats, and some exercises to get the right jazz accents into the fingering. Grateful for ever!
