Preventing and overcoming common injuries and strains
I've recently been experiencing wrist pain while writing a new arrangement. My teacher says there isn't anything wrong with my technique, but it's something that comes up from time to time. I have to imagine professional musicians deal with similar strains, so how do you get through it and what do you do to prevent it outside of the warmup exercises in your "42 minutes" video?

Hi,
I was have a right hand wrist problem around 6 month ago. Doctor told me its a de quarvain syndrome. What i did to cure it was do icing, needle acupunture, drink supplement Ostiamin (glucosamine sulphate & Chondroitin sulphate), and regular stretching before and after play piano.
For icing, put some ice cubes in plastic bag with a little salt then put above your wrist for a few minutes, do it regularly.
Thank you
